Creating a Custom Feed

Set up a custom feed to organize and share your receipts.

Custom feeds let you group receipts for a specific purpose, a research project, a themed collection, a team workspace. You can create as many as you need.

How to create a custom feed

You can create a custom feed from two places:

From a video page

A video page showing the feed interface where you manage feeds

  1. Navigate to any video page
  2. Click the Manage Feeds button in the feed panel
  3. Click Create New Feed
  4. Enter a name and optional description for your feed
  5. Choose whether the feed should be scoped to this video or global (visible on every video page you open)
  6. Click Save

Your new feed will appear in the feed selector for the current video, ready to use.

From your dashboard

  1. Open your Dashboard and select the Feeds tab
  2. Click Create New Feed in the My Feeds section
  3. Fill in the same details as above

Creating from the dashboard keeps you on the dashboard — it does not redirect you to a video page or change your active feed.

Plans and quotas

Custom feeds are a paid feature. The number of feeds you can own depends on your plan:

PlanCustom feeds you can own
Free0 (you can still join feeds shared with you)
Pro5
Creator Pro / Creator EliteUnlimited
BusinessUnlimited

If you hit your plan's limit, the Create Feed dialog will automatically open the upgrade flow with a recommended plan. You can keep existing feeds even after downgrading — only newly-created feeds count against the limit. Being added as an Admin, Poster, Commenter, or Lurker on someone else's feed never counts against your own quota.

Adding receipts to a custom feed

There are a couple of ways to get receipts into your new feed:

When creating a new receipt

  • Open the receipt editor on a video
  • Select your custom feed from the Feed dropdown before saving

From an existing receipt

  • Use the Add to Feed option on any receipt to copy it into your custom feed
  • You can also move a receipt from one feed to another if you'd prefer not to keep it in the original

Tips

  • Give your feed a clear name so collaborators know what it's for
  • Use the description to explain the feed's purpose or guidelines
  • You can always rename or update your feed later from the feed manager
