Personas let you post receipts under different identities. Think of them as different hats you can wear, you might have one persona for academic research, another for entertainment commentary, and another for professional analysis.

Posting as Alex Rivera. This is your real identity, visible to everyone.
The default is always your real name. Other personas are masks you control.
Each persona is a separate profile with its own display name and avatar. The people who read your posts, including a feed owner who invited you, see only that persona. They can't see your account, and they can't tell that two of your personas belong to the same person. Your real-name persona is just another persona, the default one.
