Account Settings

Your settings page is the control center for your Vid Receipts experience. Here you can manage your profile, customize how the app looks, and keep your account up to date.

Accessing Settings

You can get to your settings by clicking the gear icon in the navigation bar or by opening the profile menu and selecting Settings.

Profile Management

Update your display name and other account information from the Profile section. Your display name is how other users see you when you post receipts, leave comments, or vote.

Personas

Personas let you create different posting identities within Vid Receipts. Each persona has its own display name and avatar, so you can keep different activities separate.

• Create new personas for different topics or communities
• Switch between personas when posting receipts or comments
• Manage all your personas from one place

YouTube Connection

Link or unlink your YouTube account directly from settings. Connecting YouTube gives you access to your subscriptions and personalized video recommendations inside Vid Receipts.

Theme

Vid Receipts defaults to dark mode, but you can switch to light mode anytime. Toggle your preferred theme from the Settings page — your choice is saved automatically.

Account Status

At a glance, see your current plan and usage. From here, you can explore upgrade options or manage your subscription. For more details, visit Plans & Billing.
